Network Options

Just like benefit choices—one size doesn’t fit all. Apex believes in giving employers a choice of provider networks. That is why we have developed three unique network options to choose from. Our network strategy through SummaCare allows Apex to provide the highest quality of care with a cost structure that is exceptionally competitive.

SCPremier Network 

SCSelect Network 

Is a specialized network that includes all hospital systems minus the Cleveland Clinic with the exception of Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Stark County

For services received within Ohio, but outside SummaCare's primary service area, use Ohio Health Choice network.  

For services received outside of Ohio: Use Cigna Healthcare® PPO Network.*  

The Preferred Choice Network 

For services received within Ohio, but outside SummaCare's primary service area, use Ohio Health Choice network.  

For services received outside of Ohio: Use Cigna Healthcare® PPO Network.*
